Dr. Vanzella is very proud to be practicing in Squamish and is humbled by the trust given to him by his patients to attend to their dental needs.
Dr. Laurie Vanzella is a 1974 graduate of the UBC Faculty of Dentistry and has been practicing in Squamish since then. He has seen many changes in this community as he has experienced the many changes in dentistry. He has, therefore, been very active in continuing his learning by regularly attending lectures and dental conferences. He is a charter member of the R V Tucker Cast Gold study club #1 and was fortunate to have had Dr Tucker as his mentor. Dr Vanzella has mentored and continues to mentor many R V Tucker affiliated cast gold study clubs located in Canada, Italy and the USA and he is a part time instructor at UBC. He is a member of: Canadian Dental Association, BC Dental Association, BC College of oral Health Providers, Academy of RV Tucker Study Clubs, Academy of Operative Dentistry.

Dr. Vanzella is committed to excellence in dentistry and is an active member of a number of dental study groups, as well as being a mentor and teaching cast gold techniques.
Dr. Lino Vanzella graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1982. He was born and raised in Trail, BC and made Squamish his home immediately after graduation. He is committed to excellence in dentistry and is an active member of a number of dental study groups, as well as being a mentor and teaching cast gold techniques.
He has been an active member of Squamish Rotary since 1993 and was president in 2000-2001, when his presidential project was the Breakfast Program for the elementary schools. He had organized the Rotary Cares Linda Carney Challenge fundraiser for 13 years which provided funds for people who have incurred medical expenses not covered by any medical plans. He was a coach with Squamish Minor Hockey for 23 years and served on the board for 4 years. As well, he coached soccer and minor baseball and is currently the treasurer for his cast gold study club.
He has been a member of the Academy of RV Tucker Study Clubs since 1990. He has been in a cast gold study club since 1986 and is a past member of the City Center Endodontic Study Club. He has mentored in Hawaii and is an associate professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC. He has been involved with the International Straight Wire and Orthopedic seminars since 1986 and is still a member of the Garcia Orthodontic Study Club.
Dr. Vanzella enjoys all that Squamish has to offer including biking, golfing, curling, and the amazing outdoors.
Dr. Eslami is excited to join the Squamish Dental Group and is looking forward to serving the community.
Dr. Eslami is a graduate of the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. He holds board certifications both in Canada and United States. His areas of interest are General dentistry, sleep apnea treatment, Invisalign, and Botox therapy for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes. Dr. Eslami is excited to join the Squamish Dental Group and is looking forward to serving the community. Dr. Eslami is a founder of tooth mechanic media, educating patients through social media platforms, with over 200,000 followers. Join him on his socials for continuous updates.

Dr. Ehsan Taheri is passionate about the impact a beautiful, healthy smile can have on his patients’ quality of life.
You can call me Dr. T. Growing up I always enjoyed working with my hands and got introduced to dentistry by my good friend and now my partner Dr. Eslami. We are thrilled to be in Squamish and to be working alongside such respected dentists as the Dr. Vanzellas. My hope is to bring a complimentary set of skills to Squamish Dental Group and to be able to serve the patient’s needs all in one clinic.
I grew up in Vancouver/Richmond and now reside in North Vancouver with my family of 5. I completed all of my schooling at UBC and have been practicing dentistry since 2011. I take special interest in smile rehabilitation with the use of Dental Implants. I would like to use digital technology as much as possible to reduce human error. With the use of 3D X-rays (CT) and digital scanning cameras the possibilities are endless. Be it designing a smile for veneers/crowns rehabilitation to single implant placement to complex full mouth rehabilitations.
My philosophy of practice is to make sure that my patients are aware of all the viable options with their pros and cons. And together we can come up with the best personalized treatment possible. I treat people the same way I’d like to be treated and that has been my guiding principle in every treatment plan. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
